10 Ways to Make Life Easier for Bloggers.....

10 Ways to Make Life Easier for Bloggers with limited time and writing ability.

Ok, you know you are supposed to blog. Dr. Lant and other marketing experts agree that blogging consistently is a sure-fire way to get your site well indexed by the search engines and get those oh-so-important backlinks for your site. But let's face the reality. Coming up with fresh interesting blog content 365 days a year is darn difficult. You know it's important but getting started is so hard. You understand you need the value that blogging provides from search engines gobbling up your content. But how? ! How do you come up with fresh blog content and find the time. Here's some ideas to make your life easier but also to get better results for your efforts.

1. Blog about what you know or are passion about so the words stream from your keyboard rather then having to struggle to spit out the words and put sentences together. It's always easier to talk about something you know or care about or that is controversial then technical or dry topics.

2. You don't have to be an expert (unless you really are an expert and offering expert content on a specific topic). Write about specifics if you can, generalities if you have to, but write about something!

3. You don't have to be a blogger who writes with grammatical perfection. Your English teacher is not reading your blog. Stop thinking that the world is going to judge you critically if you misspell a word or don't know all the rules of grammar. Of course you want your blog to be as good as it can be, but don't let the quest for perfection make a 20 minute blog post take you hours to complete.

4. Ideally, to get the most benefit from search engines indexing your blog, you want to blog about topics related to your products, service or business. But that can be really tough to write about just one subject every day. Try spacing out your blogs so that some are on topic for your purpose, while others are off topic, or about current events. Add in your Resource Box at the end of every post (see point 7 below).

5. Keep your blog posts short. Keep your blog to the point, itemize, organize, number points if you have to. Do what you have to do make it easy and quick for you to write and easy and quick for your readers to digest. Sometimes less is more.

6. Let the world around you be your inspiration for blogs topics. This can include songs, newspaper headlines, nature, current events, other bloggers, daily happenings in the course of your life, things your kids say or do. Get the idea. There are NO limits.

7. Always, conclude your post with a Resource Box or Author info section with every blog. Why? So that your contact info and identifying information is tagged with EVERY blog post and not tucked away on an About page. Ensure that your Resource Box includes your name, contact details, areas of expertise, and link to your site or landing page. It is also a good idea to weave your optimal key words into your Resource Box. This way the key words you want people to find you with are associated with your blog, your name, and your company. This proves beneficial if you write about something not directly related to your business, products or services, you still get the benefit of the key word content about yourself, and a backlink to your site, or landing page.

8. Sometimes it helps to start with a really catchy Blog title. Take a lesson from the newspapers. They construct clever eye-grabbing attention getting headlines to draw you in. Start with a really bold, in your face, descriptive or reaction provoking headline to get immediate attention. The let your content come forth from the headline.

9. Set a goal to blog on a regular basis. If you can't blog every day, then do it every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Set exact dates and times that work for you. If you don't you will always find some other distraction to convince yourself is more important. Set a goal, stick to it, do it!

10. Make the most of the time you have spent on your blog by then tweeting it, posting it to Linked In, adding to your Facebook profile and other social media sites. Maximize the power of the time you spent blogging by utilizing social media to spread the message to other sites. You can use automated tools to do this to save time. Include links to your social media sites on your blog itself for even more exposure.

Safelists: What are they and how to use them effectively to build traffic, leads, sales

Are you using Safelists to build your Business??

First off let me explain what a Safelist is and how they work for those of you who don't know then I will discuss their effectiveness for generating site traffic.

A Safelist is an email list that you can join for free, and in return for joining you are permitted to email out to the entire list of members. Most safelist providers limit the number of times you can email to the list. Some safelist providers will allow you to email to the list more often if you upgrade to a paid membership.

We have found that the best safelists are those that work on a credit based system. Credit based safelists are fair for everyone as you have to earn credits in order to email to the list of members. The way to earn credits is to click on links when emails are sent out.

Safelists require members to join and agree to receive email and in this way they conform to anti-spam regulations.

The fact that most Safelists are free to join and use is an advantage for anyone on a tight advertising budget.

Now to answer the question, do Safelists work? YES!  We can tell you with 100% certainty that Safelists DO work. We use them, and we recommend them to our members as an effective, easy, low cost traffic generation tool.
NOTE: There are some things that will definitely INCREASE your effectiveness in getting results when you use Safelists, so listen up.

Here is what you need to know to get the best results from Safelist postings

1. Make sure what you are sending to the Safelist is motivating, includes an offer and reasons to respond NOW! You will get the BEST response if you include something for free or limit the availability of the offer. Example, do this by X date and you will get this X free!

2. If you have a dud ad or offer that does not yield a response, change it up, strengthen it, reword, add value, change your offer but do something to make it more compelling to the reader.

3. Mail to your Safelist when your target audience is AWAKE! If you are in the UK and
targetting the USA with your Safelist offer be sure to send the mailing when your audience is up and at their computer ready and able to respond to your offer. Early mornings and later in the evening is when you want people to receive your posting.

4. Make sure your Safelist mailing includes a way to capture lead information, your readers may not buy what you are offering today, but if you can encourage them to provide their contact information you have a valuable lead for future offers.

5. Landing Pages are VERY effective for safelist posts. Landing pages are a fast loading, eye-popping single page that usually includes an offer, and a lead capture form. If you can, also include a video player to get people's attention. Give people lots of reasons to read your ad and respond to your ad NOW!

Comments would be appreciated.
Have a Great Day.

Why A Blog can put money in your pocket.

Blogging is an important part of growing your online business - and a money maker!

What is a Blog?
"Blog" is an abbreviated version of "weblog,", a term used to describe web sites that maintain an ongoing chronicle of information. A blog features diary-type commentary and links to articles on other Web sites, usually presented as a list of entries by date posted. Blogs range from the personal to the political, and can focus on one narrow subject or a whole range of subjects. Many blogs focus on a particular topic, some are more eclectic, presenting links to all types of other sites. And others are more like personal journals, presenting the author's daily life and thoughts.

When it comes to building a profitable online business, this is why you should have a blog.
1. By posting frequently to your Blog, you trigger search engines such as Google to scan and index your site. Search engines are always looking for new content so they can provide the most up to date search results for their users. By posting unique content that is dense with they key words for your product or service, you increase your likelihood of being ranked higher in search engines and thus prospective customers finding your site. If your blog is a very narrow focus, posting frequently on topics related to that topic helps your site grow in popularity due to better indexing. Narrow focus blogs allow you to better attract your target audience. This is also part of something called niche marketing.

2. As your blog grows in popularity due to better page ranking in search engines, your traffic will grow. Higher traffic means a larger audience is exposed to your products, services and offers. A blog is a marketing machine. For example, if your blog posts are for product reviews, you can integrate order links within your reviews. Or you can include Ads within your blog at the top, bottom or side columns. These can be ads for your own products/services and/ or you can sign up for program like Google's Ad Sense. This is called Monetizing your blog. You authorize Google to place ads relevant to your content on your blog. When those ads are clicked on you as the referrer, earn revenue. You can also participate in YouTube's partner program and add YouTube videos to your blog. When those videos are viewed revenue can also be earned.

3. Generating blog content is made easy for you by Worldprofit. We provide you with articles you can post to your blog. You can find these in your Member area, on left menu select MONEY MAKERS than click on ARTICLE DIRECTORY. You can copy and paste those articles to your Blog as long as you are a Silver or Platinum VIP Member. Do not stop there though. Write your own blog copy, post product reviews, review your local restaurants, record a video (or series of topic videos), comment on a news story, offer tips, post your personal thoughts on sports, issues or current events. If you are an expert on a particular topic or industry, share your knowledge to entice new business. Include a resource box at the conclusion of each blog post so you get credit for the post and can draw reference to the business or services you offer. Most blogs includes a Dashboard for control so you can allow commenting, insert categories, key words, add links, images, videos, widgets, calendars, monetize, integrate social media, add RSS feeds, etc.

Keys to Blog Content that increases speed of indexing, ranking and traffic.
-Post unique fresh content that is key-word rich (see below)
-Post on time sensitive issues, example breaking news, controversial issues, new product releases for faster
  scanning
-Descriptive title that include at least one or two of your ideal key words
-Post daily if possible, or as often as you can
-Integrate Ad Sense on your Blog for an advantage with Google
-Add YouTube videos for an advantage with Google
-Reviews and Interviews seem to be a favourite of many search engines, they often get scanned very quickly.
-integrate links to Social Media so readers can easily tweet, share or post your blog posts

What does Key-Word Rich mean?
Key Word Rich means this. Determine the words that people would logically use to search for what you offer. Then make sure you use use those key words within your blog content and ideally in your title. Don't overdue it, weave those words in naturally not with obvious repetition. Not sure what the best key words are? Type in the keywords at Google that you think are ideal, what comes up in the search results? Is this where you want your site to appear? What words are your competitors using? Review their listing and site to help determine this. You can also set up an Ad Words account with Google, you don't have to actually proceed with the paid advertising program they offer, but just set the account up and see if you can generate some key word intelligence within their program.

Article Submission: POWERFUL way to increase ranking at Search Engines.

Writing articles and submitting them to online directories is a very powerful way to increase your search engine indexing.
The reason is that Search Engines LOVE new content. When you publish articles, be sure to include a Resource Box with your author information, contact details, and here is the most important part - include LINKS to your websites.
The key is that the content be unique and include links.

Search engines determine the popularity of a site, based on links to it.
The more legitimate links you have to your website on a variety of websites, the better it is for the ranking of your site in search engines.

Did you know that we provide you with unique articles that you can post to your blog, or submit to various Article Directories?

Look for these in your Member area, under the left menu MONEY MAKERS, then click on `ARTICLE MARKETING DIRECTORY`. We update this area on a DAILY basis, with articles by Dr. Lant, Sandi Hunter, and include ClickBank Product Reviews too. So review this section often.

If you are looking for an automated way to submit articles to various sites, George Kosch recomends `SEO Link Robot`.  It's not free, but he says it is a really good price for this kind of software.
Worldprofit has secured a discounted price for our Members making it very affordable.
To access `SEO LINK ROBOT`, within your Members area on the TOP MENU, click on `SEO KIT`.

On that page is more information about SEO Link Robot.

My most memorable Mother's Day..

My most memorable Mother's Day... a tenacious memory that tugs at my heart and may touch yours.
by Dr. Jeffrey Lant Author's program note. My mother is dead now. But I want you to know that hardly a day goes by when I don't think of her... not in some idealized fashion either. For she was a vibrant, beautiful creature whose reality, for me, even if flawed, was more compelling than any fairy tale I might make up. And as for charm, why she was a by-word for that; I knew that before I even knew what charm could lead to. Some say that along with her penetrating eyes I inherited my full measure of that charm too. I leave that to you to find out.
This article is being written because it gives me the perfect opportunity to remember her... not just vaguely... but as she was and remains in my mind's eye, a real woman, my much loved and often argued with mother. Here I am able to indulge myself in the most profound memories, certain that I am writing this article for you... not just for myself. And because the woman is important and the day I am recalling here one of the handful of truly special days of her life (so she often told me afterwards), I savor every word as I think it, write it, consider it, review it -- and if not perfect and exactly so, change it. For there is not a word here or even a comma that I can accept in any other way. For you see, this was one of the handful of truly special days of my life... and I want you to share it and know why.
Thomas Gray, treasured poet.
Where did my mother's love affair with England and her poets begin? I cannot say, but I can recall that wherever we lived its premises were littered with the lyric beauty of the English language... where words mattered, where understanding them mattered, where using them to maximum effect mattered, and where a word was never an obstacle but a friend not yet known well enough, but welcome for all that. As such, books, rarely closed, always open with makeshift book marks were found in every room. We read as effortlessly as we breathed... and the splendor of language surrounded us, shaped us, sustained us... and no one more than my mother for whom poets were accounted special beings well deserving of the veneration they received from her... and in due course from me. And so the profound love between a mother and her first-born son was made manifest in the poems we discovered and shared, the readings of such poems to each other, and the meanings we strove to find... especially for me when she was gone before. Then these bonds mattered most of all.
Thomas Gray, 26 December 1716 - 30 July 1771, just 54 years old.
Thomas Gray was born in Cornhill, London, the son of an exchange broker and a milliner. He was the fifth of 12 children... 11 of whom died in infancy. he smell of death permeated his young world... a constant visitor to his home, a constant reality where birth and mourning seemed inextricably linked and inevitable. And so he grew up wondering whether his own expected demise was nigh, accelerated by his abusive father. This recurring thought shaped his life, his outlook, and his poems. Later in life Gray became known as one of the "Graveyard poets" of the late 18th century, along with Oliver Goldsmith, William Cowper, and Christopher Smart. But for Gray this was not a pose; he had been to the graveyard too often too early for that. Death and Gray were on intimate terms from the start.
His sense of humor.
For all that Gray's life was turbulent and difficult, it had moments of unalloyed joy, not least because he had the valued knack of seeing the humorous side of even the most oppressive subjects. It is good to see he skewered the masters of Peterhouse at Cambridge University as "mad with Pride" and the Fellows of this College as "sleepy, drunken, dull, illiterate Things." It was the kind of thing I wrote to my college friends, too, and I knew the joy of such characterizations.
My mother knew I wrote these kinds of acid word pictures; I sent them to her, and she carefully tied them with ribbons adding her own often equally acid responses. These, too, bonded us; we laughed together. Too, there were other traits which may have made her see me in Gray: he spent his time indoors, voracious reader, avoiding athletics and exercise of any kind. But when the companionship of his friends was offered, he was a crowd pleaser with the apt, devastating mot at the ready. Gray and I might have been siblings; surely Kindred Spirits... she must have seen this... and if so have approved.
"Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard".
Thus, my mother traveled to England where I was then working on my first book and asked me to accompany her to the setting of one of her favorite poems, the "Elegy" written slowly, painstakingly between 1742 and 1750. She had waited a lifetime for this excursion... and so she and I on Mother's Day went hand-in-hand to the ancient village of Stoke Poges, to the churchyard of the Church of England parish church of St. Giles. There great Gray's remains repose for the numberless ages, his monument weathered, tilted, too much too illegible, special torment for this man of perfect wording.
We had come hence to see, to learn, to venerate.... and in the graveyard to read the "Elegy", together, in turn, lyrically, each word a pledge to love each other now and forever, though I didn't know its purpose then.
She had her tattered, well thumbed Gray in hand, so did I.
So we commenced the reading, the first stanza hers by right to intone:
"The curfew tolls the knell of parting day/ The lowing herd wind slowly o'er the lea/ The ploughman homeward plods his weary way/ And leaves the world to darkness and to me."
We are borne on these words to the place we most want to be with the person in this sublime moment we both wish most to be with.
Thus we walked and read together from the celebrated words which British General James Wolfe read to his officers September 12, 1759 the day before he was killed in battle, saying "Gentlemen, I would rather have written that poem than take Quebec tomorrow." It was an admission made by thousands of those who have thrilled to these sonorous words and their eternal relevance to struggling mankind.
'Far from the madding crowd's ignoble strife"
Now my mother has gone the way of all flesh, the way we all must trod in time. We know such an end is natural but that does not assuage the bitter grief and finality of the matter, particularly when the dear departed is one's mother. This loss is bitter indeed at whatever age it occurs.
Thomas Gray knew all this and in his beloved "Elegy", popular from the moment of publication, popular still, he gave us all the words we need to cope, find hope and resignation -- and the words of remembrance and above all of love.
Thus whenever I miss her and want her near me in all her humanity and that dazzling smile I can never forget, I take down from the clutter of my library her copy of Gray's "Elegy" and read it aloud, as we did that memorable Mother's Day so very long ago. Whenever possible I go to any search engine and play Domenico Scarlatti's Sonata in D minor (published 1738). It was one of Gray's favorites and perfect accompaniment to his surgically precise words.
"The boast of heraldry, the pomp of power/ And all that beauty, all that wealth e'er gave/ Awaits alike the inevitable hour/ The paths of glory lead but to the grave."
But not, with God's help and with Thomas Gray's, to the dark void of forgetfulness and oblivion. They have given us the joys of memory and the words we need to summon it --and our loved ones -- at will and thus they live again in us.
